How to use it
When creating an agent, review available templates and choose one close to your goal. Adjust instructions, model, knowledge and tools. Connect only the required systems and configure your company's credentials.
Limits and prerequisites
A template does not replace process review or authorize system access. Available options depend on the configured catalog. Permissions, connectors and model must be compatible with the environment.
Validate in your operation
Test the agent with a valid request, an incomplete one and an out-of-scope one. Review when it should ask for information, use a tool or hand over to a person.
Compatibility and prefilled-value review
When creation opens in an App with a defined agent type, template selection considers that type. The editor may reject an incompatible template. If an expected option is missing, check the App, type and available catalog before trying to reuse a template intended for another purpose.
After selection, review name, description, instructions, provider, model, language and suggested questions. If template instructions are empty, prefilling may use its system prompt. The prefilled model still needs to be available and configured in the company; choosing a template does not create credentials or validate provider access.
