Proactive WhatsApp as an agent tool
Include proactive messaging in agent workflows with the channel and template configuration appropriate to service.

Include proactive messaging in agent workflows with the channel and template configuration appropriate to service.
How to use it
Configure the proactive WhatsApp tool on the agent, associate the channel and review required conversation data. Validate the template, variables and destination with an authorized contact before using it in production.
Limits and prerequisites
Sending depends on the provider, enabled channel and applicable template rules. Having the tool is neither authorization for indiscriminate messaging nor confirmation of delivery.
Validate in your operation
Verify destination, variables, sending result and queue continuity. Define an explicit business condition for sending and a human path for delivery failures.
Template parameter formatting
When sending through the Meta integration WhatsApp service, repeated whitespace, tabs and line breaks in template body text parameters become a single space; leading and trailing whitespace is also removed. For example, “Delivery” and “tomorrow” separated by a line break are sent as “Delivery tomorrow”.
Do not rely on line breaks inside a variable to structure the message. Check the configured template and final values with an authorized test recipient before enabling the workflow. This normalization does not establish template approval or message delivery.
Plan channel costs
Separate the Zild subscription, Meta message charges, messaging-provider fees and AI consumption. Validate templates, recipient permission, delivery tracking and human escalation before rollout.
