Integration landscape

IntegrationPurpose
WhatsApp Business PlatformExchange messages, media, templates, delivery events, and conversation webhooks through Meta's official APIs.
Internal systemsRead or update CRM, ERP, ticketing, database, and other business data through APIs and webhooks.
SIP and PSTNInitiate, receive, transfer, and terminate calls while exposing voice events to governed workflows.
Automation platformsAllow tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and n8n to invoke Zild agents and channels.
AI providersUse approved text, image, audio, OCR, and multimodal models behind an abstraction and governance layer.
Desktop AI toolsGrant local agents controlled access to approved channels and internal systems through APIs and agent skills.

API and webhook patterns

Use APIs for synchronous queries and commands that need an immediate response. Use webhooks for asynchronous events such as conversation changes, task completion, document processing, and human escalation. Consumers should validate authentication, handle retries, and make repeated event processing idempotent.

Provider boundary

Zild keeps business logic separate from provider-specific APIs. The integration layer protects credentials, standardizes requests and responses, applies timeouts and fallback policies, records metrics, and controls consumption by tenant, application, or agent.
