What the official source reports
AWS updated the bedrock-runtime daily token quota to an account-and-region scope shared across supported models.
What this means for your operation
Our view: two processes using different models may still compete for capacity. Planning should account for combined workloads, especially when batch reports overlap with interactive service. Changing only the model may not solve an account-scoped limit.
Next step for evaluation
Map account and region consumers and identify peak hours. Keep load tests away from critical periods and verify environment quotas. Document expected behavior when limits are reached. Do not change regions as a shortcut without reviewing data residency, latency and service conditions.
