Start with the stalled order
Pilot example: a customer accepts a quote by email, but the order stalls because account data, confirmed delivery dates and availability are missing. The agent gathers evidence, queries authorized systems and prepares the next action for its owner. The goal is to reduce time from acceptance to a valid order without turning every customer message into an automatic order.
An identity for every stage
Define IDs for the lead, opportunity, quote version, order, shipment, invoice and receivable. Link the customer to the approved master record and record currency, units, payment terms, validity and ownership. The integration must retrieve current CRM/ERP state before acting; an old conversation may contain an outdated price or delivery date.
Design the end-to-end workflow
At intake, the agent qualifies the lead and records missing information. In the opportunity, it organizes requirements and next actions. For quoting, it prepares a proposal from approved prices and terms. After validated acceptance, it routes sales-order creation. It checks shipment and billing status to update the customer. Finally, it tracks the receivable and flags due dates or discrepancies without confusing invoice issuance with payment receipt.
Protect margin, credit and issuance
Discounts outside policy, changes to terms, credit releases, cancellations and fiscal issuance require company-defined approvals. ERP and tax engines remain responsible for official records. Use an operation key to prevent duplicate orders when a customer resends an email. When inventory, prices or master data conflict, the agent should open an exception with evidence rather than supply a plausible value.
Pilot benchmark
Build an authorized historical sample covering simple sales, partial deliveries, expired quotes and restricted customers. Compare the current process and assisted workflow on the same cases. Measure acceptance-to-valid-order time, orders without rework, pricing discrepancies and cost per correctly completed order. Include human review time. These metrics are a proposed evaluation protocol, not results already achieved by Zild.
How to start with Zild
Choose one CRM, one ERP and one handoff for the first pilot. In Admin, configure available connectors and verify which operations your credentials permit. Assist can support conversations and Flow process coordination, depending on environment configuration. A connector does not guarantee every commercial or tax action is ready: validate tools, fields and rules before committing to full automation.
Build an assessment using your numbers
Gather this information to scope the work with Zild. During the conversation, we assess integrations, owners and how to measure outcomes.
- A financial process and its owners
- Current costs, volume and review time
- The correct outcome and approval limits
Describe the process in the form; samples and documents can be prepared later without confidential data.
